Our concierge practice does not accept traditional insurance, allowing us to concentrate fully on delivering the highest quality care. By avoiding insurance constraints, we can provide you with truly personalized treatment plans designed specifically for you, rather than being influenced by insurance regulations. We offer extended, unhurried appointments that focus on your individual needs. Our membership fee enables us to prioritize your health and well-being without the limitations imposed by insurance companies. You can submit payments for reimbursement through your HSA or FSA account.

At this time Vitals Health is a tele-health only platform, however in person visits may be provided in the state of North Carolina in the future.

We provide comprehensive metabolic health panels which include advanced lipid analysis, glucose and insulin levels, thyroid and micronutrient panels. We have the ability to order more extensive lab testing such as cortisol exam and gut microbiome evaluation for additional fees.

Weight loss medications are recommended for patients that have specific body metrics and underlying conditions. You do not need to be overweight to be seen in our metabolic clinic; however medical weight loss medications are only prescribed for those patients that meet clinical criteria.

At Vitals Health we individualize weight loss medication to every patient based on their needs and metabolic health analysis.
Via our telehealth platform we manage medications such as Wegovy, Zepbound, Contrave, Topiramate, Metformin, Buproprion, and Naltrexone.
We do not prescribe stimulant medication like Phentermine or Vyvanse via telehealth.
For patients with type 2 diabetes we frequently manage medications like Ozempic, Trulicity, Mounjaro, Rybelsus, Metformin and Jardiance.

There are many different types of medication that can help with weight loss and treat obesity and metabolic disease.
Costs for weight loss medication varies based on your insurance coverage. Cost can range from $0 - $499 on average. Medications like Wegovy and Zepbound may be at a higher out of pocket cost if you do not have insurance coverage.
If you have type 2 diabetes, coverage for injectables like Ozempic and Mounjaro are typically covered and based on your annual deductible requirements.

YES! we absolutely do our best to get medications covered on your behalf. We will do prior authorizations based on your medical insurance coverage.

No, we do not offer compounded medication. Compounded medication specifically for GLP 1 agonist medication are not FDA regulated or recommended. Vitals health is backed by the principles of science and doing no harm to our patients. We will work with you to find the most affordable options.

On average most patients will lose at least 5-10% of their weight. We cannot guarantee one specific number of weight loss as every person responds very differently in terms of how much and how fast they may lose weight.
We track your weight loss closely and will shift and adjust your treatment plan to help you reach your health goals!
Injectable medication like Wegovy and Zepbound tend to allow for higher weight loss when combined with nutrition and lifestyle changes.

Our labs are typically done through QUEST or Rupa Health. At this time we have metabolic health panels that are included as part of your package. Any additional lab are additional fees. We DO accept copies of labs done by your general provider.

We absolutely can communicate and will provide our clinical notes to your health care provider(s) with your consent.

We are currently use Healthie which is an easy to use app to schedule your appointments, connect your apple watch, track your nutrition, and directly message our team.

Dr. Stephanie Page is an expert in managing and treating Type 2 Diabetes. She will recommend appropriate labs, medication management, nutrition counseling focusing on a lower carbohydrate approach that is sustainable, and continuous glucose monitoring.
She will appropriately manage any oral, injectable, and insulin therapies. If you are found to have any atypical type of diabetes or type 1, then at this time we will refer you back to your primary care doctor to request a referral to an endocrinologist who manages Type 1 diabetes.

Currently, we are unable to accept patients who use an insulin pump, as this often requires a higher level of in-person care. However, if you have an established relationship with an endocrinologist or primary care physician managing your pump, we can collaborate with your specialty team on a case-by-case basis to assist with weight loss and enhance diabetes control.
